Hi there, Need a simple python script that pulls in some time series data and fills in blank values. For example, data: 2010-03-28 00:00:00 0.2938 2010-03-28 00:01:00 0.2938 2010-03-28 00:02:00 0.2935 2010-03-28 00:03:00 0.2938 2010-03-28 00:05:00 0.2939 Notice that the data jumps from 00:03:00 to 00:05:00, I need that blank to be filled in so the data looks like this: 2010-03-28 00:00:00 0.2938 2010-03-28 00:01:00 0.2938 2010-03-28 00:02:00 0.2935 2010-03-28 00:03:00 0.2938 2010-03-28 00:04:00 NaN 2010-03-28 00:05:00 0.2939 Will provide you with a sample csv with 100 rows of data. You should use Pandas Python library. The script should be able to pull in a csv file, iterate through the data (for i in range (0,num_rows)) and fill in blanks like I've shown above. Some cases, the data will have a lot of blanks, i.e. may have a whole days worth of data missing, in cases like this the script should still populate the data the missing timestamp values along with NaN, as shown above. Super easy - the data just needs to be resampled using pandas in the right fashion. I have finished the code and have made it dynamic so, if your data set has 1 minute of time interval or 1 hour of time interval it will still work. I can get this out to you right away, drop me a text and let's get this rolling for you :)
