I'm exploring the possibility to create a Keyboard using a raspberry zero and python to create custom actions. to give an example the below code emulates the keyboard press of the letter 'a': --------------------- NULL_CHAR = chr(0) def write_report(report) with open('/dev/hidg0', 'rb+') as fd: [login to view URL]([login to view URL]()) write_report(NULL_CHAR*2+chr(4)+NULL_CHAR*5) write_report(NULL_CHAR*8) ---------------------- What I need is a script that accept as input from the user any kind of string and then emulate the keyboard keystrokes as above.

I have ready project for arduino. In arduino Mega, Uno, Nano you can create low level keyboard, with emulated com-port. So, it will work even in bios. In arduino leonardo you can create device, that will be found as USB device in system.

hy, i need to clarify this before. do you want to create keyboard event to an operating system with python? is my job is to changes string to an keyboard event? is any shortcut you gonna use for that?(ex alt+f4) why you choose this method instead writing directly to a file? feel free to discuss with me and negotiate the payment. cheers :)

Thank you for considering my proposal: I would be looking to generate said python program along with proposing flip capabilities for custom buttons ( MACROS?). Custom HIDs. Relevant Skills and Experience I have had a multitude of experiences with USB devices and their respective drivers. I also believe owning ones own raspberry pi Zero enables me to fully test the program, preventing flaws.
