We want to write a script for the ODROID (LINUX OS) so that when it powers on it registers with a server.

We want server to then push offline multimedia file to ODROID to then play fullscreen until scheduled to stop or new file is sent.

Offline multimedia file does have fields for system clock, temperature (COM port) and USB camera inputs at times and is not a straight MP4 etc).

Need suitable LINUX player.

Want ability to send file via USB instead of internet.

ODROID being used to drive a large LED digital billboard remotely via HDMI.

Please see separate projects to write the app that compiles the offline media file.
