GDAX / Coinbase Pro websocket + FIX API

Hello I'm not familiar with access or VB , but I'm familiar with FIX API So the basic knowledge you should know is : FIX API is usually 2 connections : 1 for the Market Feed ->in your case this is replaced by channels and subscription . 2 separate connection for placing trades. FIX API always requires TLS/SSL Connection -> this can be privided automatically for you if you are on a VPS and it uses an encryption system .. so the outbounds will be encrypted automatically or you can use Stunnel : This is a free software that encrypts your connection to FIX provider. IF your system is working OK now in terms of Data Feed , and You want to use FIX API .. then you only need connection NO. 2 IF the Data Feed is slow .. you'll need to replace your channel system cause coinbase is only providing the 2nd Connection (Trading) for FIX API and they don't offer the Data Feed Connection This is my Old blog : If you scroll down or earlier posts you'll find some stuff about FIX API on another platform [login to view URL] I just have to tell you .. The usual cost of a FIX API Client starts from 1K and it requires at least 2 weeks of development . -> every FIX API provider implements the protocol in its own way . Also ..
