There exists a program with no source code that converts a binary input file to a text output file. I can provide (as att) - An example binary input file - An example text output file The job is to write a program in c# that will convert the the input file to the output file by examining the bytes in the binary file. c:\> [login to view URL] [login to view URL] > [login to view URL] Some notes on this: .The binary file is not encrypted - there are lots of patterns in its bytes. .It contains many 20 byte sequences starting with byte 001 and byte 002 that seem to relate to each line of the output. .The output file contains timestamps that always have a modulo 5 number of seconds (0, 5, 10..55) .The binary file and text files are generally of variable length. The deliverable is the source to [login to view URL] that can convert [login to view URL] to file.text. Please note that the decoding must be genuine - it can't just print the output required - it has to figure the output from the input. Anyone up for this?

Hello, can you send me please original application (executable) via private message ? This timestamp looks very specific and i see no similarity in it with formats i know, other part is easy - like determining Power On/Off, Switch On/Off and where log begins and ends. I would like to reverse engineer original application to see how it's being saved.

Hi, I am software engineer from Serbia. I can try to create you this decoder. I will try to make first version for free and if I succeed with that we will work on full version. I will need from you two files one as bin file and other as output. Besides this two you already attach just to have more data to work with. And I will give you update when I try to do that can I do it or not. If yes then you will exam demo if you like it we will work on full version if not then no hard feelings. Hello, I am an experienced C#/C++ developer. I guess finding the binary format is possible as the text file seems well structured and quite simple. Given the format, writing a program that converts to binary files to text is of course very simple. I quess you have acces to the program that does the decoding now, and also more pairs of binary/text files?
