Social Media Marketing

Hello This is Zaid CEO And Owner of a gaming website [login to view URL] I was recently approached by a guy that told me he will help me gain followers and real active users that will enjoy my content but the end result was he took $250 and never replied and blocked me. But this incident got me excited for legit people that can do this thing. I only have 4,500 followers on my twitter @gamefreakshow and honestly speaking all of them are not even interested in my content. The thing is I want a social media following that truly cares about what I do and what I post. The engaging audience is not all I am looking for. I am mainly looking for a source of income to earn through social media and somehow earn $700-800 a month. I know it seems very illogical but that is a type of investment I need to make that can help me earn monthly. I don't know how can I earn from social media but I am assuming that the way to earn on social media will be promoting brands and products,services on my twitter profile.
