Salesforce Record Update

I have created 2 objects: Object A and Object C (Object 'B' is only there for visualization of the chain). In Object A, I have 2 related object (A1 and A2) which have one, or many records which are created once, and seldom updated. When a new record is created in Object B, I need all of the records that have been created in Object A1 and A2 to be populated to the C1 and C2 objects. All of the objects and fields have been created, I just need to determine the process of ensuring that each time a new Object C record is created that the related objects (C1 and C2) grab the existing records from A1 and A2 and create the same (new) records. There are additional fields (i.e. 'Status') on the C1 and C2 objects which will be updated which pertain to Object C, hence the need why they are different. As such, the related objects in Object A (A1 and A2) are the 'template' (or source) objects, whereas the C1 and C2 act as the 'copy' (or destination). I recall working on a project a couple of years ago, when I had a developer do this natively in Salesforce without the need for VF/Apex and require only the process to do the same again. So, for the astute Salesforce developer which has done this before, I need only the simple solution / steps and am not looking for a complex code-driven solution as I have seen this work before rather quickly...
