We are a British television production company currently producing a crime investigation documentary, the topic of which is a murder case which occurred in New Orleans. For our project we require a researcher to visit the records departments of the Louisiana Supreme Court; the Orleans Parish Criminal District Court and the Court of Appeal, Fourth Circuit. The researcher will need to make copies of paper documents and be able to send these electronically. We also expect there will be photographs to make copies of; evidence to take photographs of; video to copy/record and audio to copy/record. All of these will need to be delivered electronically for speed and cost. Unfortunately we do not have a list of the exact materials held by the records departments, so some searching and research will be required. This also means we do not know what format any audio and video material will be held on, so a researcher who would be prepared/able to copy things from VHS and cassette as well as more modern formats would be ideal. Please get in touch to discuss further. Many thanks.
