We're doing some market validation work for an idea we have.
We need someone to quickly review a total of 300 websites but only 6 to start with so we can adjust the process if need be.
We estimate the time to spend on each site to be between 5-10 minutes and using a spreadsheet we will provide, identify the following:
- Is there a Blog? Yes / No
- Is there any form of page based Commenting functionality? Yes / No
- If Yes, then provide web paths to examples
- Is there any form of Online Shop, eCommerce, Shopping Cart functionality? Yes / No
- If Yes, then provide web paths to examples
- Is there any form of Events, Events Listing, or Event Management functionality? Yes / No
- If Yes, then provide web paths to examples
If these things are not immediately obvious when viewing the home page and by quickly looking at the top level landing pages from the main menu then it is suggested a good approach to speed up the process would be to use the site search (if it exists) to look for keywords to help against the above areas e.g. "blog", "events", "shop" or "purchase" or "products" are just a few examples, you may find other ways to do this better as you look at more sites.
Using the top, second, and third level navigation to move around would also help to find what to look for. Anything that is further down than 4 levels deep is probably too hard to get to and would take too long to find. So the focus for research is just very quickly moving around the site and looking at various landing pages across levels 1, levels 2, and levels 3 to see if these three things stand out.
Identifying web page commenting may take some digging using main menus to look for sections of a site that would be good uses cases for commenting e.g. /blog or /community or /forum are just a few examples, anywhere you think it might look like a website is looking for a two way conversation with their customers, comments are usually at the bottom of these pages but there may be some cases they are elsewhere.
Each site may be different this is just one idea on how best to find these things, so you would be expected to adjust your approach as you go and if you have any questions or doubts to confirm with us before doing anything, hopefully after a few attempts it will make sense and the process can be refined and become speedy.

Based on your requirement, I did four test samples to check my timings. The first website took me 12 minutes. However, that is my very first try. The second and the subsequent ones took 7-8 minutes. So, let us say that my average is around 8 minutes.
I am sure that I can complete the 300 set of websites in a span of 5-6 hours. I can complete it over the weekend if you want me to.
As you are from Australia, I would prefer communicating via Freelancer platform only. This is fast and I will get a quick notification too. A project from a South African went down very badly because he would use Viber to communicate and the project did not go well. He then left a very bad feedback for me that is still showing on my project page.
