Information Report -- 2

My chosen company is Best Buy Scenario: It is important to research companies you are considering working for prior to applying or interviewing. To practice researching Employers, you will deliver a written information report on a business, non-profit organization, or government department you are interested in working for. You will write a cover letter and resume and perform a mock interview for a job at this company for your next three assignments. Directions: 1. Choose a business on which to base your information report. Pick a business that interests you. You may not choose the company Roots for your assignment because it is covered in the student sample. Each student must choose a different business. Sign up for your topic in Week 10. 2. Write an information report on the company you chose that will demonstrate your ability to gather, select, summarize, and organize information. 3. Include an introduction; information on the background of the company (i.e. how old, how big, what they do); the mission, values, and community contributions, and how it is rated as an employer; and a conclusion. 4. Include at least three sources, only one of which can be the company website and/or youtube channel. Wikipedia does not count as a source 5. Document your sources using APA style in-text citations and a References page. 6. Submit the report as one electronic file in the Activities/Assignments area. A sample report is posted below
