I am seeking a highly skilled programmer with experience in 2d photo to 3d model conversion and automation that can construct an online service to create a 3d model of a person's head that will not require user or designer intervention to clean / touch-up. The goal is to incorporate any suitable pre-existing 2d to 3d image conversion frameworks suitable for photos, into a scalable Online service. Users will upload a head-shot photo of themselves which will be converted into a simple 3d model suitable for 3d printing. This project is to deliver a working prototype online service to meet the above requirements. An example of this in action can be found here; [login to view URL] However, unlike this academic example; the 3d model will need to be a complete head in that a suitable generic, back-half (rear) of the head would need to be added so that it represents a full 3d model of a human head.
