Scrape ball-by-ball commentary data from ESPN cricinfo website

Need a python script that can download IPL tournament's ball-by ball data, scorecard, and venue for both the innings of a given set of match numbers. The webpage structure on the Cricinfo website has a rigid structure that should make data scraping very doable.
The data structure for each match should be in the following format:
Ball number - Bowler name - Batsman name - Runs scored - Wickets taken.
The ball number will vary from 1 to 120+. The second innings of the match should be in a separate dataframe from the first. The two innings of every match should be output in 'sheet1' and 'sheet2' of an Excel (.xlsx) file with the match name as the file name.
A few code guidelines:
- The code should be fully reproducible, that is, we should be able to run it on my machine. We are happy to actually run the scraper fully, as long as code is functional, so a complete dataset is not the goal. Fully-functioning code is the goal.
- We are an intermediate python coder, so we will be able to (hopefully) understand most of the code, however, code annotation is a must for clarity.
