What needs to be included in the algorithm/code: 1. Define a simple network with e.g. 6 nodes (3 pick up points and 3 drop off points) and their relationship between the nodes ( this input is provided by me) 2. Define a set of vehicles to serve the requests later e.g. 5 vehicles 3. Determine the location of the redistribution regions in the network ( the location should have a shortest distance to the nodes nearby) 4. Generate request during time intervals ( e.g. firstly 5 requests, 10 mins later 3 requests etc) 5. See which vehicle is occupied, which is idle 6. Based on the amount of requests the redistribution regions can be considered with high, intermediate or low demand --> determine the demand nearby the redistribution regions 7. Get vehicles to the redistribution regions (e.g. high demand more cars, low demand no need any cars) 8. Output would be to see if the algorithm is working well if it can redistribute the exact amount of cars needed to the redistribution regions Any further information feel free to contact me.
