I'm looking for a capable Python programmer who can build a reliable and stable application. I expect the overall project will run for about 4-5 weeks of work. Can you please consider this in your bid/offer. Preferred language is Python 3.8.x using modern IDE (e.g. Visual Studio). Developer should be experienced and be familiar with object oriented programming (windows app) and integrating with 3rd party components. Also should be familiar with database connectivity, API, arrays, error trapping and logging etc. Design Goals: • Interface needs to look nice and information well presented. • Program needs to be robust and reliable and be well written so runs fast and accurately for long periods of time. • Code needs to be clean and commented so can be understood easily. Variable names need to be meaningful. • Include a level of logging and exception / error handling. • Ability to import (from CSV file) and export results data to excel as a formatted worksheet. • Needs to support background data pulling and refresh (via the API) without ‘locking’ the application during background tasks. • Support interactive mode (where can place orders directly).
