The various tasks will consist of completing an old source code of the current system we are using. Our previous developers have left us with the working system but no access to the repository and no up to date source code.
As a developer, you will be receiving a full access to the system old source code and hosting platform, an access to a newly created database, a full access to the current system features and each of your tasks can be intensively explained and when required, documented to make the functional understanding part as easy as possible.
The project will be divided in several milestones that needs to be completed in the following
order but being independent, could be done simultaneously if the work is done by a team:
1) Completion and upgrade of the input data field for clients, employees and orders (Services), so as to match the currently working system. It may be possible to use the existing old listeners in order to match the current system, or else creating those.
2) Upgrade of the financial report for employees and clients, so as to match the currently working system
3) Solving issues unabling us to generate pdf document (tmp folder does not exists on heroku, therefore need to find an alternative within heroku or using our google drive
storage if fast enough)
4) At that point, the system will be up to date and we could add more milestones to improve further our system with you
As far as all the 3 first milestones, you should not be required to create new html page or
functions, but only making sure the existing are updated to match the current system we are using.
