Write some Software

Drivers first choice is a consultancy for drivers. This is a free and independent service covering everything from lessons and instructors to car purchase and insurance advice. We currently have a domain name and hosting and are seeking the following: A search engine where we can add details of instructor information we collect which can be filtered by and cross filtered with: Location of instructor Gender of instructor Price of lessons (singular and block) Review ratings (by students) Pass rate (as a total of students taught) This must include the full details of the instructor (name/company name, location, registration/accreditation, telephone number and/or email) and be able to hold a link to their website and include the possibility for students to leave reviews of instructors and a rating out of 5 stars (including half stars), which can also be displayed as a percentage of the overall rating I.e 20 reviews with a total of 82 stars would be 82%. The system must be easy to use and user friendly i.e if a refresh or back back button is pressed in error the entered information will be remembered and have a separate clear button to remove any existing information to avoid multiple inputs due to system time outs. This would be ideally supplied as a plugin to be used on Wordpress as I currently have this installed but I am open to alternative ideas. The second part of this project is an algorithm which can search all or as many as possible UK car websites based on the following car buyers criteria (but not limited by any of them): Price range (£0, £5000, £10,000, £20,000, £40,000 and £1m - on a scale with all possibilities between available) Annual tax (from free to any - with intervals at £100, £200 and £300) Insurance (from lowest to any - with intervals at groups 10, 20, 30 and 40) Fuel consumption (from minimal to any with intervals at over 60mpg, over 50mpg, over 40mpg and over 30mpg) Acceleration (with options for any, over 12secs [0-60mph], 8-12 secs and under 8 secs. Doors (front and rear or front only) Gearbox (any, manual and automatic) Seats (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7+) Body type (hatchback, saloon, estate, MPV, SUV, Convertible, Coupe) This will also involve a back end data entry system where all car information can be stored as new vehicles are entered into the market incorporating all of the above search information and old information removed just as easily with an undo option for an errors in entry or removal. An existing version of a similar system is available at: [login to view URL] The vital difference in our system should be that once it finds the relevant make(s) and model(s) of vehicle, it should be able to search ALL UK websites for the offers on that make(s) or model(s) within the price range and be able to search multiple makes and models at once. We are looking for someone who can build this software and also who is willing to work with the company over time to continually develop and improve the systems at periodic intervals.
