I have a website that sells artwork. I currently dynamically generate previews of the artwork hanging in rooms (I have attached an example). The code to generate it is fairly simple (around 40 lines). I have attached it. Rather than creating the images dynamically, I would like a script that can create all the images offline in bulk. The input will be a csv file containing image names and artwork dimensions. (The images and background images will be provided.) The output will the jpg or png files which are previews of the artworks hanging in the rooms (as per example attached). This is represented by the $_roomImage variable in the code. Some more info: 1) The background to be used will be determined by the dimensions of the artwork. Small artworks will use '[login to view URL]' as a background, large artworks will use '[login to view URL]' as a background etc. 2) Depending on the background, the artwork location will vary slightly (e.g. moved above the sofa). This is represented by the $_padding_top variable in the code. 3) I add a css shadow effect to make it look more realistic. 4) The script must run in windows and on linux (so something like python would be ideal). Hello! Something happened with your attachment, there's no code attached. Please address that so we know exactly what you are talking about when you reference something. You did not say how would those output images will be saved as - some columnin the csv or a cumulative of the back and art names maybe? This is important because it will have to take the place of your current image outputting facility so the naming convention should be the same. Also, you mention teh back sizes only as "small", "large" etc, these categories would have to be strictly defined by image dimensions. Kind Regards, Dobri

Hello! I would like to design this project for you in Java. I can write code to dynamically create the frame that encapsulates the dimensions of the image while placing the artwork and the frame elegantly on the background. I absolutely can create a shadow effect on the image and can analyze an excel file to identify the dimensions. I have experience in designing code to create, edit, transform, and save images, as well as saving to & reading from Excel files. I am a very hard worker and will strive to ensure that the code runs as efficiently as possible. Please don't let my inexperience on this site detract from my bid. I just visited the site, the job is very interesting indeed. Overlaying image is not a big task, it can be done in any modern language. I would suggest Java for this, but I can also do it in Python. You can run it in any platform. I could deliver it in a day but taking a reserved day, as image processing need some rigorous testing for memory issues. Please contact me onsite for further query.
