Shopify Filter Tag Hiding Fix

Hello.
Looking for a simple fix that will allow me to hide specific tags I choose on the "Debut Theme" for Shopify.
Documentation is below, however, this is adds an additional filter option. I wish to exclude options using the existing filter. Note from the developer: Since Debut includes a tag filter, you’ll want to just modify the one it comes with to add the exclusion using my code above as an example.
