I need a wordpress expert with extensive experience with plugin and theme development. This is more of a programming, plugin/theme alteration type of project.
This is a news/ magazine type of website that sell membership to teachers and students, we have a custom post type “download” that offer PDF book. (there are free and VIP download), free download is for sign-in member to download, and VIP download can only be accessed by VIP member (paid member).
There is another custom post-type meeting (conference) for students and teachers to attend.
No visual design work need to be done as I am going to use a paid theme purchased from themeforest.
Here is what I need help with, by the way I do not mind if it is done by free/paid plugins, as long as it can deliver without slowing down the site. Maybe the best way is to use existing plugin + some alteration.
*I have purchased a few plugins such as toolset, WPML (this will be a bilingual website), etc.
Custom Post type:
λ Post-type: Event
ν A number of custom fields…(will provide when I hire you)
ν Taxonomy: Event-Category
ν Frontend:
ν A page listing all events with a multiple value ajax search filter.
υ Event detail page
λ Post-type: Download
The website offers paid and free PDF files to member.
ν A number of custom fields…(will provide when I hire you)
ν A true/false checkbox, check to enable as VIP file. (VIP file only for VIP member)
ν Taxonomy: Download-Category
ν Frontend:
υ A page listing all downloads with a multiple value ajax search filter.
υ No detail page is needed.
υ Need to protect download link from non-login member.
ν I found this plugin “Download Monitor” that offer link protection, maybe it is a good idea to use this plugin and modify it to suit my requirements. [login to view URL]
- Membership: (I need template page for each of them for layout/ styling)
ν Member can add a news-post or download to his/her favorites.
ν Login page: email address, password
ν Register page: email, password, some sort of CAPTCHA
υ Member must validate email address by clicking a link sent to their email address.
ν Upgrade to VIP member
υ Payment gateway.
ν Member-dashboard page:
υ My favorite post
υ My favorite download
ν Custom fields for different type of member:
υ I am a ( ) teacher ( ) student
υ Some fields such as name, gender, location are the same for all types of member
υ Some conditional fields only for teacher member, and some only of student member (ex. Parent name, parent contact)
I am hoping to find someone in China, because I need the following two payment gateway:
- Wechat pay 微信支付
- Alipay 支付宝
but it's not a deal breaker, there are paid plugin supporting the above two payment gateway,
I could buy them and as long as you have enough programming skills to make it work, then it's fine.
