PHP ffmpeg split of video into frames then write EXIF data to each image

I utilized ffmpeg to split a video into frames. The resulting images are 15 seconds apart but lack the DateTaken EXIF value which I need for my application. I need to loop through the images and write EXIF data to the image. I have looked at these libraries [login to view URL] I cannot seem to make them work.
