If you want to send transactional (or bulk) emails, you can't do it with Mailchimp. You should use Mandrill to make it done. Mandrill is a sub-company of Mailchimp. Mailchimp is used for marketing emails. By the way, I can suggest cheaper option. If you use Mailgun, it provides 10K free emails per month. Also their price is (after 10K emails) cheaper than Mailchimp/Mandrill. I can make that integration within a few hours. If you want me to give a fixed price, I can complete all of these for 200 USD.
