Google Maps API Development

Following points are covered: 1. Getting directions and displaying it on the maps 2. Calculating the distance and time duration from 1 place to another I am struggling at the following points / Solution required for: 1. Unable to fetch the live tracking of the vehicle on Google Maps 2. Unable to calculate the actual distance traveled and duration taken by the vehicle. Details: The destination may either be 1 or many. Depending on the destination(s), the vehicle needs to be tracked for the actual kilometers traveled and the actual duration taken to reach the destination, all via Google Maps. While booking, the passenger may enter 3 locations (can vary). The driver needs to put the starting kilometer reading from the dashboard of the vehicle. Once started with the journey, Google Maps will start tracking the traveling time and distance. Also, the minutes should be tracked if halted. On reaching the first destination, the driver will flag as reached destination 1. On flagging, it should get entered in the database. On starting with the 2nd journey, i.e., for the 2nd destination, Google Maps should calculate the kilometers driven and duration taken. Don't forget the number of minutes / hour(s) halted. Repeat the same for 3rd journey. On completion of 3rd journey, driver will again read the vehicle's dashboard and input the kilometers driven.
