After a file is converted, should the converted file be available only to download during the web user's session (like 20 minutes) or also temporarily stored for 24 hours, maybe notifying user via e-mail with a link to download etc? 2. Do you plan to have a login feature so for example users would be able to see a history of their "jobs", maybe repeat the same conversion for additional files etc? 3. Do you plan to charge for the conversion services in the future? Or limit free conversions to resolution, file size, formats etc? It would be good to know all three paragraphs (and fix the requirements for development) in advance since it influences the information infrastructure of the planned website. Otherwise I'm a webmaster and developer for 26 years, scripting multimedia animations/charts/maps more extensively in last 7+ years. And certainly am skilled enough for the job, with pro expertise using ImageMagick and FFMPEG libraries, best open source software that would be used in this project.
