To create what is called in the online betting world ‘a betting bot’. Our one however is a more complex hedging calculator that will be used on an online betting platform that will balance the win/loss total to be zero if the bet doesn’t go right and to win money if it does! We have been doing this manually for 8 years successfully so are thinking if there is anyway it could be done automatically with an automated software! There have been a couple freelancers we used but have failed. We however think this could be due to language barriers and understanding as the idea is simple to understand but intricate and complex to apply and create. The last company we worked with gave us a time scale of 12 weeks to complete it! That was in December 2015 and they still can not do it 2 years later (we think this is due to inexperience and incompetence). They gave us the same deal of if they can’t make it we don’t pay! Long story short we are trying to give this another go to see if it is indeed possible to do with current technological advancement or if it is impossible. For the idea there will need to be confidentiality documentation signed by the developer. If you are applying for the job please be informed and already know about betting and Betfair Online Betting Platform. Also be fluent in English so there are no miscommunication and lost in translation. You will also need to find a way around accessing the Betfair API without me having to give you my personal Betfair login details. I’m currently using Gruss Betting Assistant Software to run other bots without having to supply my confidential Betfair information. I hope this is fair and you understand the reasons.

Hi there, If there's a working strategy you're handling manually then it's certainly possible to automate the same operations with a program. However, that only stands as long as AI or machine learning is not supposed to be utilized since that'd altogether require a different approach. I'm not sure why other devs have failed but incompetency is a good candidate and when that's combined with a will to get a job done for a cheaper price the result is not surprising. I had a client with whom we've worked on a similar betting bot project. He was complaining about the same thing and how several others failed before. Btw, on that project bot was placing bets which were picked, based on an algo, from a pool of tips received from tipsters via several channels. Anyway, since you haven't shared any information about the bot logic it's impossible to come up with a sensible estimate for the project costs. Your thoughts about the payment is only common sense. You can't be expected to pay if the promised program is not working up to your satisfaction so no objection in this regard. However, I expect you to deposit a milestone payment to freelancer.com at the start. You can check FAQ if you don't know how milestone system works. I think freelancer.com has a feature allowing NDA but if I'm not mistaken some of my clients didn't find it particularly impressive. As a result, I had to print, sign, scan and send it back to them manually. So I'm fine with whichever option you choose.
