Hi there, I require a desktop program/application that scrapes data from a webpage and displays it in a table format in the application. Data will be scraped from the same website but different pages of the site based on the user input of 3-4 letter codes (these codes can be used to located the correct page on the site). User interface for the program will be fairly simple with 2 rows + columns. Only 1 cell will be editable by the user - the 4 Letter code. The window will be small with font size ajustable and must have an option to be pinned to remain on top of other windows. I have a concept design showing an example layout and identifying parts of the webpage I would like data scraped. This will be provided to those who express their interest. The program shall be downloadable on to the user's computer and work as a desktop application (with access required to the internet). I would also like the program to be completed to a level where it can be sold online at a site such as shopify/squarespace. That means incorporating security/measures to prevent it being downloaded and uploaded illegally. If this program works as intended, I would be interested to refine it further and have more work done on it to add features in the future for some on-going work. Therefore, I would like the program to be update-able by those who have bought it and use it. In the future I would be looking to develop a much more thorough/refined program offered to users as a SaaS platform. Hi I am a c# ASP.Net web developer that is expirenced with creating winform applciations. I can create WPF applications aswell. I have knowledge of web scraping and creating applications that will be able to interact with the web. This would be great expirence for me and I will be willing to take this one. With regard to creating an application that will act as software as a service, I am a little less expirenced and would need to do a bit more work. Web scraping in some cases is illegal and I need some more information on what we are scraping and why. I work on a monalithic code base with over 250 projects using technologies such as asp.net and winforms, javascript on the client side, HTML, CSS and SQL including building large databases and writing scripts. I put alot of thought into developing with regard to UX and design aswell as secuity. I will also document my development for future developers using UML and designs. I am a student currently studying maths and computer science in northern ireland. I speak perfect english. I will help sort good communication and deliver on time although this is my project so we will need to talk over some details.
