Hi, I need some code or a wordpress plugin written that will intercept the "wp-admin/[login to view URL]<postid>action=edit" action and that will direct the user to either : • Open a modal popup window which will contain the admin post editor (wysiwyg) if they don’t have the admin menu already open or • if they do have the admin menu (backend) open it simply uses the standard back end admin post editor My goal is to stop users who only need to edit the current post from going into the backend every time Additonal requirements ----------------------------------------- When it loads in the popup modal window I want these items hidden: # Admin menu # Admin Side bar menu # Screen options # Help # Permalink info + edit + view post + get shorlink The dialog is to be a modal style compatible with bootstrap 3 (responsive) See screenshot to show an example of how it should appear I don't if this can be done or whether I need to create a whole new custom window PLEASE NOTE # WHEN SUBMITTIING YOUR BID PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE THAT DEMONSTRATE THEY HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THE REQUIREMENTS Thank you

Hi, I'll be using action hooks to remove the menus, screen options and help tab, the rest I will hide with CSS. I'll modify the frontend edit links to work with [login to view URL] so they open a modal window and add a 'modal' parameter to the url to indicate whether the items mentioned before need to be removed or not.
