Hi, I need some type of webcam capture and upload script. Preferably in perl or php (no mysql). But as long as it will work on a unix server. This is what I had in mind, but if you know of a better way I am open to suggestions. This seems to be alittle unclear so I posted a revision at the bottom. *************** Image push to server, via ftp. All ftp server info (user, pass, dir) hardcoded in the script. So not to allow user to see ftp info. Allow only ftp upload of .jpg or .gif files. Allow set interval of next upload. Hardcoded so only I can edit the upload interval not the user. Allow user to specify image name. Check to see if name all ready is in use. If so make them choose another name. Allow user to have option to add text to image. Option to start and stop upload. When the user clicks stops upload it will delete their image file (if this is possible). Allow a small banner or logo to be displayed on the program. Sorry If I was a little unclear before. Basically I already have a video chat set up and running. In order for the user to send their video they need a webcam url. I need something that will allow people to upload their cam image to my specified ftp info. This info has to be hardcoded to help out with the security issues. I want all images to be in one folder so it must check to see if image already exist before upload starts. After upload starts it can re-write image file. Here's the other thing when the user stops uploading I would really like it to delete their image file. So in the future I can use the main webcam image folder to show only online cams. Hope this helps.
