ref tracking and database integration

I need a way to track my hits and sales.

Fortunately it is already to built into the system when a sale is made I can get the following information packed back to my server:

reseller code

name,address,city,etc.

ipaddress customer's ip address

product_id product code for the product

purchased

x_website website url

x_ can be used as pass through fields.

EX:

x_petsname=alphanumeric)>

x_shoesize=alphanumeric)>

x_haircolor=alphanumeric)>

What I would like to happen, is when a customer enters my website - on any page - that the referring url and ip# is added to a database on another server along with the time and date. If it can match the href against the exising url of the page they are on, and if the domain is the same it shouldn't add it, that would be nice and keep the database from getting too large.

Then when a sale is completed and the above POST BACK information is sent, I need a script that will take this information and add it to another database or tables. I would then like some type of interface, preferably in php that will take the information and display all hits, uniques (within the past hour) and match up the sales by the customers ip address. It also need to be able to set up so I can have numerous websites tracking this information at the same time.

other output I would like to be able to view by date:

-total hits (discarding hits from same url as website)

-uniques

-hits to sales by website

-ip trail (if they have came from one of my other sites - try to locate original sending url)

-hits to sales by referring url - by website and across all sites in database (by matching up ip#)

and also have the ability to output file in a format to be put into excel. I am open to suggestions on different ways of doing this... but would like it to be very easy to integrate into any site and post the information to a different server.
