Hello To My Future Programmer, Subject: Membership Site Development Basically, what I need someone to do for me is created my website based on a technique I have been using myself to solicit work for the last 10 years. I want the website to be developed with PayPal and maybe one or two other payment gateways. Once the customer or user completes the order and payment process, I need my web site to create a customer account that would generate a temporary username and password or would allow them to create it as they register that they could then sign in with then change if desired. This system must also allow them to retrieve their password if it is lost or forgotten. The customers account would consist of a single web page that will serve as a resume or CV and could be made publicly visible to any contractor or employer that the user gives the url of his page to. This one customer page I would like to be template driven that will consist of 5 or 6 different templates that I will design myself or you can design as part of the over all project. All graphics used must be professional high resolution graphics. I will provide or tell you where to obtain them. The user must be able to change between templates anytime without disturbing the content. Once that account is created, the user must have the ability to sign in to their account and edit the content on their resume or CV page at any time. I would prefer this web site to be developed using the Word Press platform but this is not a requirement. Whatever CMS system you think would be the best for this project is fine with me or even written completely in php from scratch, again whatever you think would be best. I have experimented with a script called SnippetMaster that allows users to edit web pages through their web browser but that script does not have to be used as long as my end result is the same. If we use the SnippetMaster script, the software system you develop must be able to auto-add the customer to the SnippetMaster user system. The templates that I will design will have the SnippetMaster codes include in the templates. Also, if you use the SnippetMaster script, you will have to familiarize yourself with it to actually see if it can be incorporated into the site. Like I said, we do not have to use this script if you have a better idea. The script can be located at [login to view URL] as a free download but I do own and have a license key for the PRO version. I also have full branding rights to the SnippetMaster script. Now as far as a single payment made to you for performing these tasks for me, I would also require your services as a support tech as I learn to use the system myself and until the point that I can confidently administer the site myself. It would not take me long to do that, I can assure you. After that I would still like to continue our networking relationship to address any problems that may come up and for future projects I have on the table. For this I am actually looking for an ongoing and possibly permanent but not exclusive networking partner and programmer to perform my programming tasks and I will pay you well for your services. This way you can still pursue your own endeavors as well. I am a union carpenter myself and I cannot see myself doing the work I do right now as a carpenter to my retirement age. The trade has been very hard on my body. I will continue to pay you a residual income for anything and everything you do for me. Please let me make this hypothetical scenario to you. This one web site will be for the exclusive use of union carpenters of which is my primary occupation. It has been determined by the International Brotherhood Of Carpenters and Joiners of America that we are entitled to open solicitation which simply means that we are allowed to find and secure our own work. We do not have to go on a list and wait for the union hall to call us up and send us out on a job assignment. In the United States alone, there are 525,000 union carpenters. If only a very conservative 1% of that number were to subscribe and use my resume service web site; that would be 5,250 carpenters paying 3 dollars a month for use of the site. That would be an income of $15,750.00 per month and an annual income of $189,000 dollars. Here in the United States the number 7 is considered one of the luckiest numbers in casinos all over and even in the world as evident with slot machines, blackjack, and even the dice game called craps. Imagine if you will, you offer your services to me for 7 % of all profits I make from any online venture you JV with me. This first site alone for which I am asking for help on and using the conservative example above would earn you a $1,102.50 monthly income and an annual income of $13,230.00. I have in just 1 month already built a list of over 300 union carpenters on FaceBook chomping at the bit ready to subscribe to this site. A more reasonable expectation of users of this site out of 525,000 union carpenters is closer to between 7 – 10 %. If you do the math on that, you can see how at a 10 percent subscriber rate I am willing to pay my chosen programmer $132,000 dollars a year to get this one site up and running! Does that sound better than a one time payment for development of this site? This is my offer to any programmer who is willing to take a chance on making thousands of dollars with me! I will pay you 7% off the top of any website you develop for me and for the lifetime of that website. By the way, I know how to market the sites too. If you can build and develop them for me, I will get people to see them! My skills as a webmaster in static html and Internet Marketing have all been self taught over the last 15 years online but I lack a degree in web design and I know absolutely nothing about php programming, mySQL databases or how to automate a membership website but I am learning everyday teaching myself all these things. I just need one very good programmer to take on this one project to get me started and would like to develop a networking relationship with me.
