I need a website for an online bookstore. The front end will allow customers to browse by genre, title, author, subject and keyword, as well as order books. The site will have all the important functions such as shipping calculator, stock, informational pages, shopping cart and checkout functionality. To get an idea of what the site will do, please see the [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view], the earlier is the one i'm most inclined to. An automatically scrolling list of titles such as appears on their homepage is part of our original design as well. We must have a very nice-looking and clean site (I prefer [url removed, login to view]), that functions flawlessly. No scrappy designs, please. Web 2.0, AJAX, CMS must be put into use. On the back end, we must be able to add books, including all the relevant search information listed above, a description, stock photos of the cover and back cover, author name, title, available stock, etc. It must be a simple process to add a large number of new books to the database, as well as to manage inventory when books are sold. Site must be SEO friendly, with neat, precise code. The service provider must be a good communicator, willing to keep me updated of the progress, via IM and email. a basic sketch of the template for the site is like [url removed, login to view], and will work with the provider to come up with the best designs. I'm looking for someone who can help to make good choices, and follow specific instructions about functionality. Users will be able to buybooks using paypal, nigerian payment gateway (Interswitch). You should already have paypal integration parameters. I will send Nigerian payment gateway integration parameters.
