I would like an online booking system and backend database that will allow anyone to come on and book time with me. It should be in 30min slots and they may take multiple slots at one time. For example 9:30 to 11:00.I will also need slots for lunch and days off.
The bookings should be done in an Microsoft outlook Esq. Calendar that can be drilled into. Clients (no need to log on) will only seen booked or free, when I view (log on) I see details of each booking.
The website design will be long the lines of a banner Logo along the top, navigation bar on the left and the rest will be where the content actually appears (content being the Booking System/Contact Page/Home Page/Articles I have written). The site would need email conformation for booking and optional reminder emails (customisable time) before a booking will begin. Also some sort of authentication to prevent "fake" bookings.
I would like the system to sms people if there booking needs to be cancelled. I would also like it to sms me if a booking is cancelled by the user. Cancelations are not allowed less than 24 hours before an appointment. I would like the option to charge late cancellation fees. The site should take care of the payments (credit card). I am flexible how this is done but want to keep card transaction commission to a minimum. Also I don’t want the user to have to sign up to a website service, the only details they should need to input is that of their credit card.
Summary
