I require a Database created in Microsoft Access to be linked using ASP/SQL to a Website created using Dreamweaver/Front Page/Flash. The project is for a small Sign company who manufacture and install all kinds of signs. The idea of the database is to store company records such as jobs, customer details, prices of products. The website needs to allow customers to get instant online quotes for jobs, and also for them to input there details so that mail shots can go out to them of any special offers or price changes. The database also needs to allow customers to get quotes if they visit the shop. Other database requirements are: Profit margins, the database needs to calculate which jobs are more profitable than others, Monthly forecasts, so that it can be determined what months are peak times and when it is quiet; Figures, such as how much they have made this month/year, employer details etc. The quotes need to be stored on the database for a certain ammount of time and then if there is no reply they need to be wiped off. If the quote is accepted then jobs need to be tracked from start to finish so that someone can click on a job and find out what stage the job is up to. The web site and database must allow the customer to select what kind of sign they require eg what materials they want, colours, sizes etc. so that they can get their quote. I need to view all of the source code and be able to edit the database and web site because prices for stock changes all the time so it needs to be easy accessable on the database. I can provide all logos, prices and any other information required. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform The operating system used is Windows 98 but it may be changed in the near future to windows NT so it needs to be compatible with both. Internet Explorer 3.0+ and Netscape. ## Deadline information Must be fully completed by 03/05/03 and the basic screen design of database by 02/12/03
