Functional Specification Project - Part One From Full Project Site

This project is a small part of a whole software development project split in six parts. In this first part (56 days) we will point at the **Requirements specification (Functional specification)**. If the company/employ does a successful work, they will probably do the entire project (the entire project will be eight months). It will be great if the bidder speaks spanish but it's not necessary. ## Deliverables This project is a small part of a whole software development project split in six parts. In this first part we will point at the Requirements specification (Functional specification). * **Requirements specification (Requirements analysis):** is a complete description of the behavior of a system to be developed. It includes a set of use cases that describe all the interactions the users will have with the software. In addition to use cases, the SRS also contains non-functional (or supplementary) requirements. Non-functional requirements are requirements which impose constraints on the design or implementation (such as performance engineering requirements, quality standards, or design constraints). * ** Functional specification** * **Software Design:** software design is a process of problem solving and planning for a software solution. After the purpose and specifications of software are determined, software developers will design or employ designers to develop a plan for a solution. It includes low-level component and algorithm implementation issues as well as the architectural view. * **Technical specification** * **Architecture specification** * **Standard of codification** * **Implementation and Integration:** is the part of the process where software engineers actually program the code for the project. While we are developing the software is very important to make Testing, this ensures that defects are recognized as soon as possible. * **Development and testing** * Testing (or Validation): software testing is an investigation conducted to provide stakeholders with information about the quality of the product or service under test.[1] Software testing can also provide an objective, independent view of the software to allow the business to appreciate and understand the risks of software implementation. Test techniques include, but are not limited to, the process of executing a program or application with the intent of finding software bugs (errors or other defects). * Deployment (or Installation): starts after the code is appropriately tested, is approved for release or otherwise distributed into a production environment. * Maintenance (sort period): is the modification of a software product after delivery to correct faults, to improve performance or other attributes. This phase it will take **eight weeks**. We already have a full prototype designed in html, so we have lot of work already done for this phase (we will give you the url to see this prototype when you accept the work). This phase will be split in eight milestones, one milestone per week. In each one we will make a payment if you accomplished all the requirements. We will give high level specification that you can take as example (please), but remember that this is an example of the final document and it doesn't mean that the application is going to be like that (take it as a template). Please see the attached document. But if you accept to do the project, we will give you a low level specification for each milestone. This specification it will be given at the beggining of each milestone. The project will be done using .Net Architecture and Sql Server unless we decide it's better using other Architecture. For this phase the bidders need to have expertise in: Analysis, UML, Software Development life cycle. It will be good if the bidders also have knowledge in .Net, Modeling Data, Sql Server, .Net Architecture, experience with hostings, dedicated servers, PHP, MySql, PhotoShop. The final deliverables for this phase will be two word documents: one in English and the other in Spanish with the functional specification. We also need all the diagrams, scripts, models done for the functional specification. Please think that this is just an example the final document for the specification could finally be changed. Complete instructions we will give to you when you accept the project. This project it's just the beginning so please if you apply think in having enough spare time for doing it. If you do a good job in this phase you will do the following and the same for the others. Think that maybe you can stay with us for 8 months.
