We (client) run a vendor's (server) asp application over the web in ie6 that times out after about 20 minutes on our client machines. I would like to see if I can setup up a keep alive program that could: 1> poll for existance or start of the web app; 2> check the session timer or keep track of how long the session has been open but inactive; 3> send a screen refresh or something to reset the session timer if no activity prior to the asp server timeout. Session timeout sends us all the way back to the login page which is quite an annoyance. I have some experience in vb6 but am unclear on how to access ie objects and how difficult this would be. All users that run this app use the latest ie6sp1. I believe that's version 6.0.28.x. Thanks, Ron
