I want an illustrator to create a scene of two women (facing forward) and one man (back to viewer) sitting together on a mat, having a picnic under a big majestic blossoming cherry tree. The scene has to be very Japanese - in Spring. It is for a book cover of a story set in Japan. DETAILS: * The concept sketch brief is shown attached * The book cover is 6X9 inches but with title above and below the picture needs to be cropped to match * The design of the illustration must show emotion of spring, romance and also tragedy. One woman is the lover and one is the wife. Here they meet for the first time before their relationships begin. (The future is ahead.) * I imagine the title "When Spring Comes Around - A Japanese Tale" will be in Japanese brush font, as attached, so the illustration must match this * And the illustration must look Japanese in style, yet show detail. Attached are two different styles that are a guide to standard acceptable. (Not anime or childrens illustration, please - serious compositions) Finally, please do not apply unless you can deliver this project. (this is not a logo), and you are prepared to offer a sample. (This is the first illustration of a number, and the others will include close portraits, so keep this in mind.) Thanks
