The size of the PCB is quite hard to determine at this moment because there are some things that need to be clarified first like: - audio amplifier -> mono or stereo? - do you want any ESD protection on the USB connector? - how big you want the touch areas? I assume you want an exposed copper areas on the PCB - resolution of the DAC? - do you want any mounting holes for this? Or do you have any other solution for mounting inside an encosure? - single or double sided assembly? I have ~7 years of experience in PCB Design and adjacent activities like EMC, ESD, thermal management, signal/power integrity, manufacturing, cost optimization and so on. I have a lot of experience in finding the right solutions and optimizing the designs. Of course, I will try to make you PCB as small as possible but this doesn't have to translate into a low quality design. I usually work with Altium Designer, but I can adapt to any other tool if you need it. Thanks.
