Hi I require a network design and then configuration of my existing home ubiquiti network. The design needs to be based on best practice and extremely secure. The home is a smart home with many IOT devices controlling most of the house. The features below are some of the items i can think of but ultimately you are required to use your expert knowledge to finalise the design. Implementation can be completed via webex screen sharing. Features - General home wireless network - IOT wireless Network for all the iot device that use 2ghz - Guest Network and portal page created - Kids Wireless network connected to OpenDNS VIP ( web filtering service i currently use.) Please suggest a better option. - Segregation of networks to provide optimal security - VPN so i have remote access into the home network from iphones, tablets etc - I would like all devices that need a static ip be assigned via mac address - Automated monitoring and intruder detection Devices in the network Ubiquiti UAG pro 4gateway (2 WAN connections) Ubiquiti AC Pro Wireless Access point Ubiquiti 24 port POE switch Synology RS819 4 bay rack mounted NAS (current acts as security NVR and backed up to Amazon Glacier) Happy to use for other functionality if better suited. HIKVision Cameras 2N door Savant Home Automation Various ipad, tablets, pc and phones Cable modem (plugged into gateway) 4G backup

I can design your home network for You confidently and quickly because I am a certified network engineer (MTCIPv6E/MTCTCE/MTCNA) having over 10 years of experience in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting of enterprise network devices (routers, switches, access point and wireless bridge), firewalls, and Linux servers. Did You consider the 5Ghz wireless range? 2.4 GHz is a very noisy range. If You live in an apartment then your 2.4 GHz wi-fi might work very slow and unstable. It has only 3 non-overlapping channels (each 20Mhz).
