Data Miner

I need to have a data mining micro-service/application built that will perform a data gathering task. If the data miner is provided 1 or more URLs of a website, it must perform the following things: 1) Grab and store the websites name, city and state information in the database (if it's available). 2) Capture any VIN numbers that are listed on the website and write it to a database. 3) Capture the URL of any photos associated with the VIN number and store in a database. Here is an example: 1) The data miner is told to scan a car website 2) The data miner discovers the name, city and state of the car website and writes it to a table in the database. 3) The data miner discovers all vehicles available at this URL. It captures the VIN number of each vehicle and writes it to a table in the database. An example VIN might look something like this: 1D7HW38P39S721747 4) The data miner captures the URL of all full-sized photos of the car and saves the URLs to a database. 5) The data miner then moves on to another car website and begins the process again. Database: Sample database schema (just a sample, the Freelancer can determine something better or more precise if needed): Vehicle Table: UID VIN DID (car website UID in the dealership table) IID (image UID in the image table) Dealer Table: UID Name City State Image Table: UID ImagePath (can be more than one image) Technology - Language: I have a preference for this project to be done in Python. I am open to other languages such as Java, but again, I prefer Python. The code must be well documented. Technology - Database: I have a preference for MySQL as the database. Again, I am open to other database engines, but would prefer MySQL. The final delivery should include a demo of the site working, the documented code, installation/run instructions and a script to create the database (or a backup of the database that can be restored).
