Creating an ionic 4 app, that selects an image either from your camera roll or photograph. when you've the image selected, using Tesseract to recognise the text and translate it and save it as a receipt. Using tabscanner api to recognise the receipt, as a problem i faced was each receipt been different. this api helps with this. Using this tabscanner api to identify Line items, prices of each item and totals. Displaying it in a User Friendly way which allows you to edit the price, and delete items from the list if did not have it and save the receipt.

I have already developed a ocr program which use my algorithm to recognise the printed alphabets or numbers. The main problem in something like your work is the preprocessing the image so that the ocr program can apply to it. Hope you can consider me.
