Restaurant referral application

Idea: The idea is primarily hinged on “Quality Business Referrals”, by the locals to the tourists (and visitors) of a certain neighborhood, offered along with a business deal in form of a discount. Businesses - Small-scale, limited to neighborhood, shops, restaurants, coffee-shops, bars. Or any shop Quality Referral - The uniqueness of taste, the ambience of local bars, the quality & taste of locally brewed coffee or beer - the best recommendations can be offered by the individuals who have been living in the locality for years. Business Deals “discounts” - This discount can be negotiated by the neighborhood for a profit sharing agreement, based on 2 factors The Host actually likes the recommends the business (coffee shop or restaurant) The Host is willing to recommend his/her guests to that business. The liking of host matters, because for a bad quality referral, his reviews would be adversely affected. What to we offer: We offer a seamless, user-friendly, efficient discount coupon management application to facilitate this arrangement. App Specifics: 3 types of users, Business Owners - Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Local Grocery, Clothing, Tailors Example: Marc’s Coffee Shop Hosts - For now Airbnb hosts Example: Steve Travelers - Tourists or Business Travelers. Example: Amar The business owner upon agreement of a discount agreement with the local host, awards certain discount coupons to the host. 3 types of users, Coupon Owners - Example: Marc Hosts or Coupon Delegator - Example: Steve Coupon Beneficiary - Example: Example: Bob The Coupon Owner upon agreement of a discount agreement host, awards certain discount coupons to the host. For example, Steve agrees on 10% discount coupon from Marc. To do this, Marc looks up in his Application Search by Steve’s ID (or QR Code), and awards him coupon of 10% discount. Now these coupons are allocated in Steve’s Virtual Coupon Delegation, maintained by our app’s central server. Bob is user. Steve offers Bob a referral discount for Marc. To offer this referral discount, Steve, looks up Bob's ID on the App and transfers coupons to Bob's Coupon Bag valid at Marc’s Business for 3 days. Bob goes to Marc's Business, pop out the app, and claims his discount by a watermarked QR Code. Marc, scans the QR code, and the app validates following things, - Is the coupon valid at present? - Was the coupon issued by a host, to whom Marc transferred coupons earlier (i.e. Steve) - The value of the discount. The coupon can additionally be transferable or nontransferable. For example, if for some reason Bob is not able to go the coffee shop, Bob can transfer the coupon to his friend. Limiting the degree of transfer to 1 would be the safest idea, where a traveler can transfer the coupon to a fellow traveler. No transfers beyond that degree will be allowed. The coupon transferring, bag management and validation will all be done by the App (i.e. maintained by us) - thus giving us full autonomy to decide on race conditions and identify invalid usage scenarios.
