I am looking for help to build a very simple Android app that will control(start/stop) a remote GSM/GPRS device through SMS and voice call. Currently I have to call or text commands to the device, but would like to simplify the process through application (implementing SmsManager). The app will consist of three fragments in one activity ("Instant Start", "Delayed Start" and "Settings"), I already have the sketch. App permissions will include READ_SMS, SEND_SMS, RECEIVE_SMS, INTERNET, MANAGE_OWN_CALLS, READ_PHONE_STATE. This is a small gig for now, but the app will require regular updates and growth. Qualified candidate should have experience with implementation of SmsManager and experience creating slick, ergonomic UI. Preference will be given to residents of US and Canada, however I welcome everyone with the right skill to apply for the job. If you are interested, please contact me with clear demonstration of your experience with similar applications. Students are also welcome.

Hello I'm little confused about the project so if you have no problem with my Bid , please answer the following : -The only required part is the coding for the Android device ? So , no Arduino Sketches or adjustments needed , You have that part completed ? -What do you stop with the Stop message ? only the sending of the Text messages from the module right ?, but the module is still working and powered .. it just stops sending Text messages to your phone. On the App part : Why the Fragments Design ? Mainly what you're asking can be done in 1 activity . I want to be honest and tell you that UI design is not my best skills . I worked with GPS modules before but GSM/GPRS .. didn't have the chance to work on them so the messaging part at the Module End is new to me . Regards
