PowerShell to calculate photocopier total usage cost per user by job type. Photocopier JobTypes: Print, Copy, Scan. A/ First split the ‘User Name’ filed in the source CVS file as below: 1. Split the ’User Name’ column after the ## creating a new column ‘Softlog’ Eg Username username,SoftlogCode Tori Sambrooks##8677 -> Tori Sambrook,8677 B/ Calculate totals per user by job type. Please examine the data in attached Excel (both sheets) Example. 1. The photocopier exports a CSV (attached) – see XLS file 2. The PowerShell is to calculate totals and produce a Report/CSV as below – see XLS ‘outputcsv’ sheet PowerShell to calculate photocopier total usage cost per 'softloguser' by job type and produce a Report/CSV shown in attached XLS (see the ‘outputcsv’ sheet). Please examine the exported photocopier data to understand how job types are identified also note the cost per job is calculated in column G, this needs to be totalled per softlogcode.
