I need instructions on how to do something. I don’t want you to do it, I want to be taught.
I have a table that I cannot change: Admin will not let me. It’s a basic table. There are no primary keys. It keeps data about individual quote numbers.
My task is to track additional data about the same list of quote numbers. So how do I get those quote numbers into my table? I need to compare the quote numbers in my table to that other one. When that table has additional quote numbers that mine does not I need to append them into my table so that the list of quote numbers always make Match in the two tables. How do I automatically compare and then append the new numbers into mine. Note when new quote numbers are added to the table they will only be added to the original one. The user is ill not go into mine and add it there as well. The original table is named QUOTES MASTER FILE. And the field where the quote numbers go is titled Quote Number
