I need to be able to connect to the Mikrotik routerboard API from MS Access so I can download data to an MS Access database environment, and issue commands from an MS Access form. There is a VB6 code example (...that does complile and run. See attached) that I have re-written in MS Access VBA but I can't get it work. All the winsock code is in that MS Access project I have posted. It just needs to run. There are others of ways of accomplishing this, but it all looks based on winsock from my understanding. So it would be beneficial if you have worked with winsock before. One could write a dll in C#/C++ that that can be referenced in the MS Access VBA environment.
