I have an IoT project that simulates the smart meter concept : I have sensors to measure the voltage, current and watts. The project uses esp8266 to send data to thingspeak and Adafruit. I use my website to turn on/off the lights and to show the voltage, current and watts by using thingspeak Iframe. I want to have a database that records the watts in hourly basis to calculate the consumption and to show some charts to simulate a client and a service provider points of view (watts consumed in specific period of time, cost, peak times ..etc) Action required: 1- Create database that records the consumption (watt hours) 2- Create charts that can be controlled with buttons to show (watt consumed/month , comparison with last year, peak times …etc) I thought there are two options after creating DB: 1- integrates the DB with my thingspeak account to get data required 2- make a command to make esp8266 send data to our new database in the same time its send to thingspeak

Hello, I Have done such a project with a startup I was working with, they used it for smart metering as well, their idea was to measure water consumption and send it to Sentilo via HTTP requests which then sends the data to be analyzed and stored then displayed in charts on an application (I used [login to view URL] [login to view URL]). I have also just finished a project on freelancer.com, where I had to connect an Arduino to a database using the ESP8266 you can see my reviews. I also am vice-champion in an international robotics competition called Eurobot with a smart city theme so I have experience with electronics and especially internet of things. Hi. I'm an electrical engineer with experience in the programming of ESP8266, designing web server as user interfaces, and connecting with microcontrollers (arduino, pic and raspberry PI) withe the idea to communicate with them to send and received data using protocols (UART,SPI,I2C,1WIRE,TCP/IP) and send that data to an GUI. I made a project that measure the Active Power consumed by the house using a PIC18F877A, current Transfromer and Voltage transformer used to create a digital Wattmetter circuit, used to calculate la power throught the voltage, current and phase degree measured for the circuit, and send that dat to the ESP by UART, and tehm send the data tp a web server to update the graph of energy comsuption implemented in the GUI, and save it also in a database to let the user know the comsuption in a especific day, week or month. I hope to fullfill your expectation and can work with you in this project
