As a freelance theatrical director and producer, I recently developed and directed a new one-woman play called I KILLED THE COW. It has received two productions [Ann Arbor, MI; New York City] in the past year and is about to embark on a five city festival tour [Chicago; Boulder, CO; Twin Cities, MN; Sarasota, FL; Scranton, PA]. As it is a self-produced tour, I need assistance with marketing and PR in these cities including writing press releases, contacting press, and developing and executing marketing strategies for each of the locations. I would prefer to hire individuals local to the cities on the tour who would have more insight and connections into the local market. Additionally, I am hoping to contact local businesses and educational institutions in each city as the show has educational appeal and I am using the tour as an opportunity to market the show to other organizations for future bookings.
