We are in need of a full stack Magento 1.x & 2.x PHP developer to join our team, in an ad hoc hourly capacity. This individual will possess the following skills and competencies. -Expert level skills in Magento 1.x/2.x full stack development -Frontend Magento Development --Including: ---HTML ---Zend ---CSS (With CSS methodologies, such as BEM) ---LESS ---PHP (PSR 0-4) ---XML ---jQuery [login to view URL] ---RequireJS ---Gulp ---Twig ---Varnish ---Redis -Magento backend development --Including: ---Composer ---Apache ---MySQL ---PHP ---XML ---SOAP ---REST ---Service Workers ---Elastic Search ---Solr ---PHPUnit ---Selenium -Creation of custom Magento modules, core module extension, custom extensions -Pixel perfect frontend implementation should be the only way that you work -Cross-browser and fluid responsiveness should be core to your workflow -Development of custom Magento 1 & 2 themes from scratch -Obsessive about writing clean, organized, efficient, and well-documented code -Experience developing on Magento 1.x and 2.x using git version control -Well familiar with Magento 1.x and 2.x security best practices -Well familiar with Magento 1.x and 2.x performance best practices -Familiar with general web performance optimization best practices (DOM size, number of connections, critical CSS, CSS/JS minification, image compression, webP etc, etc) -Works organized, quickly, and efficiently -Skilled communicator with English fluency -Comfortable working within and meeting deadlines -Development team-lead experience a plus HOW TO APPLY If you match the description above and are interested in joining our team, please send: -Unique cover letter which describes how you match the characteristics and skills described along with experience to support this (GENERIC COVER LETTERS WILL BE IGNORED) -3-5 of your favorite or best Magento 1.x or 2.x work examples -A link to your bitbucket or github account
