OS/Versions: All hosted on Hyper-V Running Ubuntu 16.04 Zimbra 8.8.9 We were recovering from a system crash on an old Ubuntu server running Zimbra. Created a new VM running Ubuntu 16.04, installed Zimbra 8.8.9, and then migrated files from /opt/zimbra from the old server to /opt/zimbra on the new server. After this we are unable to start the zimbra service. It throws this error: /usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error: /opt/zimbra/zimbramon/lib//x86_64-linux-gnu-thread-multi/auto/IO/[login to view URL]: undefined symbol: Perl_Istack_sp_ptr Not sure what's going on but we need this up and going fairly quick.

Hi. You copied opt directory with the perl modules from the old servet and now you are trying to run your software using newer version of perl installed on your system and it doesnt work because compiled modules for different perl versions are not compatible. It seems that your software was developed in the way when it should use its own perl version not system (this is widelly used approach), so all you need to do is make it works with correct perl version. Feel free to ask any questions.
