We're not considering candidates from India/Pakistan. All written correspondence is in English, most on our team speak Russian. We would like to keep our sysad part-time to support you. You can take care of our server part-time, at whichever hours and days best suit you. Ours is a long term requirement. Our server is hosted by OVH: Xeon E3-1245 | 32 GB ram | Proxmox VE virtualization system, 15 VM/CT. Our main website is with amazon: [login to view URL] Please self-score yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 on our stack: - Linux Ubuntu 12/14/16 (LTS), Gentoo linux - VPN Server - Firewall (iptables) - Mail server (postfix, dovecot plus roundcube as web client) - Nginx, Apache, MySQL, PHP (dev, test & Live environments of web apps) - RabbitMQ - Redis - Node.js applications - Continuous integration server (Jenkins) - GIT - Zabbix - Atlassian: Jira, Confluence, Hipchat and plugins - SSL certificates If you have experience in maintaining and scaling the following, please do share: - Web Applications deployment strategies (GIT hook scripts, bash scripts) - MySQL, Apache, Node.js and Redis optimization planning for heavy load Most of our websites and customised software applications have separate development, test and production environments. Hello I am system and network administrator, with more then 10 years of experience. I worked with different services and servers, particularly, designing of local datacenter, management of local and remote sites, and cloud environments. The above-mentioned experience includes work with virtualization technologies, mostly based on VMWare products, cloud services such as AWS, DigitalOcean, and etc. I have proven knowledge in networking and security, thanks to the work experience and Cisco training sessions I participated. The short list of the servers and services include but are not limited to: Web Server (Apache, Nginx, IIS), Mail Server (Postfix, Exim, PowerMTA), DNS Server (BIND, Unbound, MS DNS), Firewalls (Iptables, PFSense, etc.), basic scripting (BASH) etc. I believe my skills and qualifications correspond to the requirements. I understand that this is a part-time project and also that it is going to provide me with tons of learning opportunities. I already have apt experience with Ubuntu (I use it as my primary OS), and I've used Redis, RabbitMQ while developing (I am primarily a python developer).
