Need help with migrating DNS and DHCP from Centos 6 to a new RHEL 8 above Server

Hi, I will help in migrating DNS and DHCP off of Centos 6 Server to a new RHEL 8 above Server. There will be no data loss and downtime. All files and database will be migrated. Backup Restorations, Database Restorations from Secondary Backup Disk etc. I will implement all securities and install ssl also. Thank you

Hi, I have been working on several servers for over 17 years and rich experiences and skills in this field. In your case, I think it could be better to drop your *.db files into your new var/master and fire up. DNS is usually very good at supporting features that have been deprecated. Even if you run chrooted there is still no problem, just drop your *.db in var/named/chroot/var/named/master. I can help you to migrate DNS and DHCP easily. Create a DHCP range in parallel on the other server; Copy the DNS records to the RHEL8 server, test all records and only migrate after approval.
